The participants of the youth social action can improve the awareness in problems, to participate along with others in preventive maintenance and struggle against spread of HIV/AIDS/STI and the Tuberculosis in republic provided by SISF jointly with partners.
On July 1st at 16.00pm in the capital of republic in park of Bobur in the frames of SISF project «Healthy youth» the youth social action under the name «We are for a healthy lifestyle - join us!» will take a place. The Social Initiatives Support Fund (SISF) jointly with partners carries out a third year the similar informal action, following one of directions of their activity. This results from the fact that the problem of HIV/AIDS/STI and TB in Uzbekistan becomes actual and hazard to youth health.
Organizers: «Jenskoe Sobranie» (Women's Council) Public Association, Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Social Initiatives Support Fund (SISF), Community of Women Diagnosed with Breast Cancer, Republican Scientific Oncology Centre.
The idea of the conference has been supported by the domestic and foreign NGOs, official structures and leading specialists from Austria, France, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, United States, Russia and other. Among them are representatives of the World Health Organization Representative Office in Tashkent, EUROPA DONNA The European Breast Cancer Coalition, major international pharmaceutical companies like «Novartis» (Switzerland), «Sanofi-aventis» (France), «Hoffmann - La Roche» (Germany), «Phazer» (Germany), «Ebewe» (Austria), «Femaklub» the Society to Support Women with Breast Cancer (Ukraine) and others.
Оn June 2, 2009 the Social Initiatives Support Fund (SISF) jointly with the "Microcreditbank" and "People's Bank" will be holding an exhibition of achievements of women-farmers аt the "Expocentre" in Tashkent. The exhibition will be presenting women-farmers who are participating in the project. The purpose of the activities will be the recognition of the achievements of women-farmers in the project and presenting awards to the best participants, who have greatly contributed to the development of women's farming in Uzbekistan.
With the aim to improving the quality of life of citizens of Uzbekistan, who need social support, SISF has developed and has been implementing social programs and projects. They are financed by domestic and international donors on a regional and national level.One of such projects is «The provision of microcredits for women-farmers» project, consisting of three phases, which began its work in 2007.

Representatives of NGOs, government, as well as international organizations and diplomatic missions will take part in the Round table. The purpose of the Round table - official presentation of the pilot version of the Concept of a model of inclusive education.
At the “Intercontinental” Hotel on December 26 Social Initiatives Support Fund (SISF) is holding Conference dedicated to reporting on it’s activity in 2008. Representatives of NGOs, government and business, as well as international organizations and diplomatic missions will take part in the Conference.
SISF – non-governmental non-commercial organization, established in 2006 with the aim to consolidate efforts of civil society of Uzbekistan to improve quality of life of the citizens, who are in need.
Main directions of Fund’s activity are assistance for development of healthcare, education, social infrastructure, environment and provision of support for people, who are in need.
Trough supporting of SISF 70 young low-income families improved their socio-economic conditions in 2007. As many as 70 young low-income families will get an opportunity to improve their living conditions in 2008.
Social Initiatives Support Fund positions itself as an organization, which consolidate efforts of NGOs of Uzbekistan for improving the quality of life of citizens, who need social support.
According to this, SISF implements social programs, which are funded by domestic and international donors. Programs and projects are funded in the form of regional and national level grants within the main areas of the SISF’s activity – healthcare, education, social infrastructure, social support and environment.

Awarding Ceremony of finalist of SISF’s project “Provision of Micro Credits for Women-farmers. Phase-II” will held on 7 May, 2008 at 15:00 a.m. at “INTERCONTINENTAL” Hotel located at 107 Amir Temur Street in Tashkent.
On April of 2008, SISF in cooperation with “NESTLE” corporation (Switzerland) in Uzbekistan held training for its project partners on rational nutrition for children. Thereby, the project “Healthy Mother – Healthy Child”, which was began in 2007, will continue its development in this year.
Social Initiatives Support Fund consolidates efforts of NGOs of Uzbekistan for improving the quality of life of citizens, who need social support. Aiming this, it develops and implements social programs and projects, which are financed by domestic and international donors. Along with education, social infrastructure, environment and social support – healthcare is important area of Fund’s activity.
Resulting active participation in the projects of the Social Initiatives Support Fund more than 25000 citizens of Uzbekistan, who are in need, have been able to improve their living conditions and gain useful information and skills.
Social Initiatives Support Fund conducted Annual Conference devoted to the results of its activity in the year 2007. The Conference was held on December 18th 2007 at RADISSON SAS Hotel in Tashkent city and started at 11 am. Representatives of NGOs, government and businesses as well as international organizations and diplomatic missions participated in the event.
The participants exchanged opinions regarding the implementation of the Fund`s activities in 2007 and discussed further actions to support sustainable development of the SISF projects in 2008.
